This is a fragment of a real human skull displayed under a glass cloche dome.
The skull fragment features what appears to be a gunshot wound, with an inscription that reads 'SUICIDE'. It sits on a dark stained wooden base and the dome is in good condition. Skull shows signs of age with some staining and cracking to the bone surface. A very unique and macabre curio, perfect for collectors of unusual items. It is most probably Victorian but possibly Edwardian, from English Pathology centre. The bullet hole would be the gruesome exit wound, so the poor victim must have put the gun under their chin and pulled the trigger. A rare piece of history and a unique piece for any collection.
