This is a large vintage tapestry rug, featuring a detailed scene depicting people in a pastoral setting. The central image shows figures relaxing and interacting amongst trees and foliage. A decorative floral border surrounds the central scene, featuring an assortment of blooms and foliage in shades of brown, cream, red and green. The rug is 100% wool. It is in good vintage condition overall, with some wear and slight fading consistent with age and use. It would work well as a statement piece in a living room or bedroom.
