A vintage stoneware jar with a wicker basket holder. The jar is earthenware with the name of the company, F.M. Laing & Co Ltd Wine & Spirit Merchants Newcastle on Tyne, embossed on the side. The basket is woven wicker, and fits snugly around the jar. The jar is in good condition, with some discoloration on the surface. The wicker basket is also in good condition, with some wear and tear.
