An original edition belonged to US President George Washington.
Notable for Brown's footnotes, explanations and cross-references; John Brown was son of a peasant Scottish weaver, self-taught in numerous foreign languages, and importantly, fluent in Greek and Hebrew, allowing him to open the eyes of the readers' understanding in his unique style.
I doubt that we will ever get another copy in such good condition.
If you need a lamp to your feet and a light unto your path, this is the book for you: it's a sharp as a twoedged sword.
