This aluminium garage sign celebrates the Royal Automobile Club. Founded in 1897, the club is the longest-standing and most influential motoring association in Britain. The recovery service, known as the RAC, was operated by the Royal Automobile Club until it was sold off in 1999. The service ran a network of garages where members could get their cars fixed, each of whom displayed this sign. The aluminium construction and acrylic finish combine to make this sign really stand out, with almost mirror-like detailing. The letters "RAC" appear in the centre against a blue background, with "Approved Garage" underneath. Popular with all fans of vintage motoring, pre-drilled holes make this sign easy to display on a wall of your choice.
