ABEEKU: Black & Red Market Basket

This is a hand-woven market basket produced in the traditional Ghanaian Bolga basket style. The basket features tribal patterns in black and orange, making it perfect for market trips or picnics. It can also be used all over the home as a laundry basket, toy basket, vegetable basket, or blanket basket. Every market basket in this collection is totally unique, made once, and sold once.

Woven from ethically-sourced veta vera grass in Northern Ghana, this beautiful Bolga basket is made from robust veta vera grass – an indigenous raw material that’s sustainably sourced and perfect for producing durable baskets. The grass is hand-rolled before being woven by a skilled member of our partner weaving cooperative in Northern Ghana.
