Original 1955 British Army issue machete complete with its leather scabbard, manufactured by S.J. Kitchin Ltd. This heavy-duty machete was standard military issue during the Malayan Emergency (1948–1960), used by British forces for jungle clearance and utility work in the dense tropical terrain of Malaya.
