A rare, Georgian weapon. There were not many English versions of the bullet or pellet crossbow. This is self-loading and fires lead balls. It is missing a string but could be fitted with a reproduction.
Jeremiah Patrick was an English, Liverpool based gunsmith between 1795-1814. The business was then taken on by Edward Patrick between 1814-1820 & then finally by Ann Patrick from 1820-1832.
